Mmm, yummy peppermint bark – prebreak….want the recipe? Here it is!
3 bags of white chocolate chips
12 candy canes, crushed
1/2 to 1 tablespoon mint extract
Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler. As it begins to melt, add the mint extract. Once the chocolate has melted completely, remove from the heat and stir in your crushed candy canes (I use a gallon ziploc bag and a large spoon. Make sure you seal the bag before crushing!). Line a jelly roll pan with wax paper. Pour the chocolate mixture onto the wax paper and spread over the chocolate into a smooth layer. Refrigerate until hardened, then break and enjoy!
